MetalExpansion Joints also called metal corrugated compensator, it composed by metal bellows and accessories such as end pipe, support, flange and conduit. Metal expansion joints can be used to absorb the dimensional changes of pipelines, conduits and containers caused by thermal expansion and cold contraction, or to compensate the axial, transverse and angular displacement of pipelines, conduits and containers. It also can be used for noise reduction and vibration reduction.

Installation

1.The type, specification and pipeline configuration of the metal expansion joints should be checked before installation, and it must meet the design requirements.

2.For expansion joints which with inner sleeves, care should be taken to ensure that the direction of the inner sleeve is consistent with the flow direction of the medium, and the hinge rotation plane of the hinge-type compensator should be consistent with the displacement plane.
